Armory Square In 'n Out & Kirk Hotel Buildings
Become the very first resident in A key project that
will revitalize downtown Syracuse. Developers have
restored the old Kirk Hotel and the In and Out buildings
at the corner of Clinton and West Fayette streets into
13 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The ground level
will remain the Clinton Street Pub, which will be
renovated, converted into a full restaurant and expanded
into the adjacent In & Out Building. The project
completely renovated the interior spaces of two highly
underutilized and/or vacant properties. Two floors where
added to the In & Out Building to replace those that had
been destroyed in a fire in the 1970s. The third floor
of the In & Out Building will consist of two two-bedroom
units, with the fourth floor creating a loft area for
these two units. The two “new” upper floors will be
recessed 15 feet from the building facade creating an
outside balcony. The Kirk Hotel Building will house nine
apartments, a mix of one- and two- bedroom units. Rent
ranges from $750 to $1500 depending on the apartment.
